Features of Hydraulic Suction Filters
Conventional hydraulic suction filters use an accordion-style peaked pleat composition that results in almost 30% of unused filter area. This design is highly inefficient and difficult, and sometimes impossible, to clean.
All of our filters feature the following:
A rounded root and crest pleat design. This unique design enables 100% filter area utilization, boosting efficiency and ensuring a cleaner and longer life for the filter. The design also facilitates cleaning operations, allowing the filter to be reused numerous times.
End caps with the original mechanical lock design. The end caps are flared for a tapered channel construction. Assembled with our high-strength two-part epoxy resin bonding agent, the cap, center core, and element act as a single monolithic unit. This characteristic prevents separation failure when the filter component is subjected to extreme vibration or shock.
Additionally, given the required specifications, we can also fulfill customized filter orders.
Types of Suction Filters
line of standard products is integrated with both full-flow and relief valve designs. Our durable filters are rated for capacities ranging from 5–200 GPM and can retain particles as small as 10 microns with minimal differential loss. Our extensive range is also available in various sizes to accommodate 1/2–4 inch customary male, female, and O-ring connections.
Our hydraulic filters are highly versatile and suited for almost any system. Due to our rigorous material selection process and meticulous engineering techniques, our products are ideal for use in demanding applications in a wide range of industries, including:
Agriculture
Automotive
Construction
Forestry
Heavy equipment
Manufacturing
Metallurgy

Strainers are fully submerged filter elements installed onto the suction inlet or piping of a pump. They generally feature a coarse mesh screen designed to capture and collect large particulates as the fluid flows into the pump. Suction strainers are widely used as they are cost effective and are housed within the reservoir, thus reducing the need for any external work. They are typically made with a 125-micron wire mesh media to remove large particles, but they are also available with filtration degree from 60 to 250 micron. They can be equipped with a magnetic column for retaining ferrous particles, with or without a bypass valve
